On Wednesday, 888poker unveiled Vivian “Vivi” Saliba as the latest addition to the 888poker team at King’s Casino in Rozvadov. Saliba took over her new position as 888poker Ambassador and signed her contract live on Facebook in a video hosted by PokerNews’ Julia Lee.

After signing the contract and an official announcement, Saliba stated, “There are many aspects I like about 888poker.” She continued, “First of all, the 888live events because of the affordable buy-ins with good structures and amazing locations. I also like the online platform because of the variety of different tournaments and cash games with a large number of players online at any time.

Saliba has been successful on the tournament scene since 2014 and her wins have earner her over $174,000. The 24-year-old made her mark with an 11th-place finish in WSOP Event #54: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship for a career-best $47,923back in summer.  This year, in what was just her second time at the WSOP, and her first playing  in the Main Event, she managed a respectable 421st place for $27,743.

An up-and-coming star of the game, Saliba joins the 888poker team that includes the likes of Kara ScottSofia LovgrenParker TalbotNatalie HoffChris Moorman and fellow Brazilian, Bruno Foster.

Saliba has a history with 888poker having done reporting work for the company earlier in her career. Reflecting on that time, the new 888poker ambassador said , “I didn’t do well. I think my thing is to play poker.

“It’s exciting, Vivian is a great addition to the team,” new teammate Talbot said on the news.
