On November 23, New Jersey pro Darren Elias aka the “End Boss” added another Borgata title to his resume by taking down the Borgata Championship Fall Poker Open $2,700 Main Event. The US-based pro, Darren, defeated Mark Kaganovsky in the heads-up battle for $293,062. The three-time WPT champion Elias managed to win the Borgata Championship for the first time in 2014, earning over $843,000 for his win back then. Now, with this latest score, his lifetime live cashes have surpassed the $5 million mark.

The event drew a strong field of 473 entrants with the top 45 places being paid. The field included former WSOP Main Event champion Joe McKeehen and this year’s PokerStars Champion Bahamas Main Event winner Christian Harder – both eventually cashing without troubling the top tier of the payouts. But, it was Elias who led the way and his previous Borgata win and 3 WPT titles shows why he earned the nickname ‘End Boss’.

Borgata Championship Main Event Final Table

At the Final Tabel, Elias first busted Patrick Maritato in ninth place with Brett Apter following thereafter and Dan Wach busting in sixth place. Mickey Woll settled for the fifth place. Next, Paul Lambrakis was busted  in the fourth place when he moved all-in with card 3card 1 after Elias opened the action and Mark Kaganovsky joined in with a call holding card 2 card 2 while Elias folded. The community cards did not help Lambrakis and he busted out. Keven Stammen walking off as the 2nd runner up set the felt for a heads-up battle between Elias and Mark Kaganovsky.
