Fedor Holz won his first live tournament as a partypoker pro in the € 2,200 No Limit Hold’em Turbo High Roller at the partypoker Grand Prix for a sum of €34,000 ($39,900).

The victory came after besting a field of 41 players. In an interesting trivia, all five of the German players who made the final table, except for Jozsef Liszkovic, were WSOP bracelet winners with seven-figure tournament eanings.

The final table bubble burst when WSOP winner Jens “Fresh_oO_D” Lakemeier busted in 7th place against Dietrich Fast. Paul Hofer battling against the other partypoker-pro Jan-Peter Jachtmann was the first to leave the final table at 6th place.

The heads-up play between Fedor and Jachtmann lasted for 4 hours. On the final hand, Holz open-shoved for 3m chips with   and was called by Jachtmann, who still had some 2m chips himself, with just  . The flop and turn showed up  . The river came down , giving Holz the better two pairs and left Jactmann to settle for the runner-up spot and a €24,500 cash prize.
