PokerStars to launch in India

The Brand

PokerStars is one of the largest poker brands in the world. Players like Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker, Jason Somerville, Celina Lin, Aditya Agarwal, Liv Boeree etc, are associated with the brand as its Team pro. Expansion of a poker platform in a country like India clearly hints at the gradual acceptance of the game. The increasing interest and expertise of Indians in poker cannot be ignored.

The Inaugural Celebration

The brand will be live soon. Here gaming will be available only for Indian citizens. The first gift of the brand to its Indian patrons is a ₹10 lakh freeroll on 22nd April 2018 as a celebration of its launch.

The Canadian business giant is not keeping any stone unturned to tap the Indian market. From freerolls to early bird prizes, they’ve got everything covered. Without disclosing any more than they want to at this point in time, they are just attracting the Indian poker crowd to join the PokerStars bandwagon for a rewarding poker career.

The website does not reveal anything about the gaming structure or any upcoming tournament. But, it certainly promises an out-of-the-world experience to Indian poker players.

The online gaming environment is already a competitive one, but Pokerstars has mastered the expertise, over the years, to navigate through rough waters.
