With the second-largest score of his career, Nick Schulman claimed the title in the first $50,000 NLHE event of the inaugural Poker Masters, high-stakes tournament series.

Schulman, a World Poker Tour champ and two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner won the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $50,000 Super High Roller for $440,000, back this August. The two splendid wins within a period of five weeks takes his total live tournament winnings to over $10 million.

The first event attracted 51 players with only seven players heading to Day 2.Nick defeated Matt Hyman in the heads-up battle to claim the $918,000 prize money with ace-king against Hyman’s ace-eight suited. Hyman had flopped a flush draw but missed to give Schulman the title.
