Only a few days back, Kee had finished as the first runner-up in the HKD $100,000 ($14K) Short Deck Ante Only Event, where Nick Schulman had bagged the title. Schulman had scooped $272,084.

All About The Event

The Super High Roller Series Jeju $1,000,000 HKD Short Deck Ante paid the cashing players handsomely, especially the last six finalists. Ivan Leow, taking home almost four times ($460,200) the buy-in.  Leow had won the Triton HKD $500,000 short deck tournament for $1,101,100 a few days ago.

After Leow, Kee completed his hattrick in player elimination with Mikita Badziakouski (K-K) and Peter Jetten(Q-Q).

Mikita Badziakouski is quite a skilfull player. He ranks in the 43rd place in the Player Of The Year list. Belonging to Belarus, his WSOP winnings amount to $17,666,08 and his POY winnings amount to $52,482,62. Peter Jetten, also known as “Apathy” at the felts, is a Canadian poker professional. Jetten started poker professionally in 2004 and by 2006, he had already proved himself talented by finishing in the 8th place at the WSOP $2,500 Short-Handed No-Limit Hold ‘em event. Since then, Jetten has won over $650,000 in online tournaments.

Next, Richard Yong was railed in the third place. His elimination paved way for the heads-up between Kee and Cary Katz. Kee started the heads-up with a 3:1 chip lead, eventually taking up of Katz bankroll with the stack burden. Two Queens of the deck struck the final blow on Katz. Thus, Kee took down the title.
