Just when you thought that all the drama at the 2018 partypoker Millions Germany Main Event was over, here’s another one for you! After Viktor Blom’s amazing win in the Main Event, and amidst all the daring and winnings in Rozvadov, Dominik Nitsche worked his way to a €300,000 prize in the €10,300 High Roller event!!

888poker ambassador Dominik Nitsche’s slow but steady hands fetched a €1,140,000 prize pool, beating the €1 million guarantee!

Before Nitsche scooped €300,000, fifteen players took home cash between €25,000 and €40,000.

Notable names like Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and Mustapha Kanit closed at 14th and 10th position respectively. Even high roller expert, Steve O’Dwyer busted in 9th place for €30,000.

With celebrated names like Ole SchemionDaniel Cates, and Koray Aldemir, Nitsche’s victory wasn’t easy but definitely sweeter.

In the final round, the partypoker ambassador, “The Flying Dutchman” Marcel Luske was heads-up against Nitsche, and finished runner-up with €180,000.

Overall, it was great time for players both, recreational and professional. Sharing his experience in Rozvadov with PokerNews, Nitsche said, “It feels pretty good actually. I was joking with my friends that I run really good in Rozvadov because people were making jokes about how much would it take for them to live there for a year. Some people were saying five or ten million, and personally, I don’t know!. The way it’s been going in Rozvadov, I might have to move there eventually. I actually don’t mind Rozvadov as much as other people do. The dealers are good, the tournaments offer great value. This one had lots of recreational players. I think ten days was a bit long to be there, but I don’t mind going there too much. For me, it just feels nice to play poker whether I’m at Dusk Till Dawn, Rozvadov, or Vegas.
