The new Highroller Series by Pokerstars has poker enthusiasts licking their lips with its huge guarantees. This series of 22 events (26th November-4th December) has a total prize pool of $11.4 million GTD, with $2million of this sum guaranteed for the $2100 Highrollers main event scheduled on the 3rd of December. The inaugural tournament of this series, scheduled on the 26th of November for the buy-in of $2,100 with a $1million GTD featuring No Limit Texas Hold’em, was won by none other than the ‘king of high rollers’ himself, Fedor “CrownUPGuy” Holz. He walked away with a prize money of $178,498.

The two day event had 442 entries in total, with 55 finally making it to the prize pool. The event was graced by the participation of celebrated poker players like Vladimir ‘vovtroy’ Troyanovskiy (secured the 42nd position, $6724), Ignat “0Human0” Liviu (secured 38th position, $6724),  Dario “Secret_M0d3” Sammartino  (secured the 32nd position, $6724), Igor kurganov (secured 25th position, $8173), Alexander “Cavalito” Mantovani and Jordan “JWPRODIGY” Westmorland (secured the 11th position, $13869).

Out of the finalists, the most notable players were- Grayson “gray31” RamageDinesh “NastyMinder” Alt, and Holz’s partypoker stablemate Patrick “pads1161” Leonard.

The final table witnessed quite a cut-throat competition and at the end, there was a heads up hand between Fedor Holz and 88maca88 where Holz successfully busted 88maca88 to gain victory.
