As the 2018 Aussie Millions Championship ends, the poker world gets another spectacular poker player who earned his first million at the prestigious poker championship. It is Toby Lewis who fought a felt of 800 players to ship the 2018 Aussie millions Main Event’s winner’s title and prize money of AU$1,458,198.

The final table started with 7 players and Johan Schumacher, who had the shortest stack, was the first to get eliminated. After Johan, the fight went for another 2 solid hours before the next elimination- Ben Richardson was eliminated by Solaas in the 6th place, which shifted the game to Lewis’s favour. He showed the exit way to Mike De Vecchio (5th place) and then earned multiple pots to create a significant gaps between him and his opponents. After 9 hours, Park bid farewell to the felt, securing the 4th place.

After Park’s elimination, an ICM deal followed among the three remaining players. The deal favoured Lewis with just AU$75,000 and a gold bracelet left to play for. Lewis proved, that his eye was only on the winner’s prize, through his performance at the felt and before long, eliminated both his remaining competitors to became the 2018 Aussie Millions Champion.
