This is a pleasant news as it contradicts to the fact that more than 60% of the poker players are men. Female players such as Nikita Luther, Vanessa Rousso, Maria Kirloskar and many more are earning accolades at the sport.
Indian female pro, Shuchi Chamaria (pescatarian8) won the top prize at Pokerbaazi’s tournament – the Bout. It is a tournament held on every Monday at 8 p.m. with a guaranteed prize pool of INR 10LAC.

Shuchi Chamaria has been smashing her opponent right from the beginning of her new poker career. Being a novice, she has already been to WSOP and won a cash prize, making India proud.
As far as her skills are concerned, she has been training under a gem of the Indian poker circuit, PokerStars Team pro-Aditya‘ Intervention’ Agrawal, who is also Chamaria’s better half.
Chamaria added another feat to her poker career when she performed extremely well at the Baadshah Live Main Event in Goa and later got crowned as a winner on PokerBaazi.
She secured 4th place for INR 3.25 LAC in the tournament in Goa after qualifying on Day 1A online. In the Bout, she managed to outplay 234 entries, carving her way upwards to the first position and winning a bankroll worth INR 2, 20, 000.

The tournament saw its end at 1:54 a.m. on Tuesday morning and Chamaria managed to knock out poker circuit’s known faces. ‘YOUAGAIN’ was beaten in a heads- up play taking away INR 1, 65, 000. The third position was taken by Vinay B aka ‘Vinstill’ who won INR 1,20,000 followed by Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’ taking home INR 67,500.
