When it comes to high rollers, nobody does it like Steve O’Dwyer. The Colorado Springs pro took down the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK £25k Super High Roller title as seamlessly as always. O’Dwyer pocketed a hefty winning prize of $585,000 for his fine efforts!
The Super High Roller welcomed a total of 51 entries generating a prize pool of £1,236,750 ($1,607,775). The two-day nail-biting tournament featured eight finalists but only six got paid. The money bubble burst on the 2013 WSOP Main Event champ Ryan Riess who went back to take a seat at the MILLIONS UK Main Event Day 1.
The Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham witnessed O’Dwyer’s killer moves that he unleashed in serial order. Eventually, the heads-up saw O’Dwyer against Fabrizio Cataldi. The 36-year-old SHR maestro took little time to score a full house, leaving Cataldi with a runner-up title.
After this victory, O’Dwyer, the latest sensation of SHR, has landed himself close to the tenth spot on the all-time money-winners list. He is now only $300k away from David Peters, the famous poker pro who sits on the 10th place of all-time tournament money-winners list.
