Final Table Recap
As the final table began, Czar Ian Marcos was the first casualty, followed by Richard Marquez and Trygve Leite. Leite had a held 4-3 small-blind against Lester Edoc’s Ace-King in the big blind when the former got fired at sixth place.
David Chargualaf Sr couldn’t manage to fight with his two pairs against William Ysmael’s flush and had to contend with fifth position.
Right after, a 3-9-Jack appeared on the flop, prompting Jessie Leonarez to move all-in with Ace Deuce and Lester called with a King-10. A queen appeared on the turn, giving Lester a straight but Leonarez couldn’t get anything better with 6 on the river.
The table now had William Ysmael, Jiajun and Edoc. The noose tightened around the trio and soon Ysmael’s two pairs were knocked out by Edoc’s straight and the former busted out in third place.
The heads-up began between Edoc and Jiajun with Edoc leading 2:1 on the chip count. On the final hand, Jiajun went all-in with an Ace-Jack and Lester had an Ace-Five. The board stood at 10-king-4-five-King and Lester won the pot and the championship with his pair of 5.
