Ben CowEyed Tollerene is all over the poker industry, since he took down the partypoker POWERFEST Super High Roller, the day before. Tollerene outlasted Jon sordykrd Van Fleet to claim the title and the top prize of $310,440.
At The Event
The event started with 312 runners, running for the boosted prize pool of $1,560,000. Among them, there were a number of partypoker’s own faithful pros running for the title. The most notable out of them was Roberto ‘WelshWizard’ Romanello who’s elimination bubbled the final table. Apparently, the paycheck of $24,180 helped him lessen his pain of elimination to some extent.
The felt was full of notables of the high roller league like Anatoly ‘NL_Profit’ Filatov and Niklas ‘Drulitooo’ Astedt. They joined Tollerene and Van Fleet in the final four who cashed six-figure paychecks at the end of the event.
It wasn’t to be glory this time for the Swede, or Russian crusher Filatov who joined Team partypoker last year, the latter bowing out in 4th spot and joined on the rails by online MTT expert Astedt, leaving two of the biggest winners to battle it out for glory.
Tollerene is still climbing the slope of his poker career and is yet to make big achievements. Surely, at such a stage, a win like the one in context is a benchmark on his poker career. Ben is more of an online high-stakes cash games player, with a focus on pot-limit Omaha hold ’em. Last year, Tollerene had taken down the $25,500 Super High Roller at the 2017 POWERFEST, defeating Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom in the heads-up. Van Fleet, on the other hand, had taken down the inaugural MILLIONS Online, last year, where he won more than $1million.
After a gruesome fight between the two poker pros, Ben emerged victorious while Fleet had to settle for the first runner-up position.
