Luuk Gieles Ships High Roller Event At The 2018 WSOP Ciruit International Holland Champion

Netherlands’ Luuk Gieles took down the €3,500 High Roller Event at the 2018 WSOP Ciruit International Holland hosted by the Holland Casino Rotterdam. After two days of gruesome grinding, the champion walked away with the sparkling top prize money of €53,078 along with the trophy.

Day 1 And Day 2

On Day 1, 31 players entered the run but only 17 survived to take the batton forward. The re-entry provision of the tournament saved the back of this champion. On Day 2, along with these 17 remaining runners, several other players joined the race to finish since late registrations were open for the final day. Surprisingly, even the eventual winner Gieles was also eliminated on the Day 1. Along with Gieles, several other players like Tonny van Eck, Jack Salter, Marijn van Puffelen and Hakim Zoufri made their wild card entry with the re-entry provision of the tournament.

Many notables busted out on Day 2 including Day 1 chip leader Foe, Jack Salter, Farid Chati, WSOP bracelet winners Ronald Keijzer and Mark Radoja, while Bryan van Rijsbergen bubbled the final table.
