At The End Of Day 2: 2018 EPT Barcelona Updates

Record-breaking 2018 EPT Barcelona’s Day 2 ended with 259 players cashing. Ben Wilinofsky, hailing from Canada, is leading the survivors in chip stacks. It seems that the verdict of 2011 Berlin EPT might repeat itself.

The 2018 EPT Barcelona has broken a record just yesterday with its mammoth 1903 entrants to the Main Event. Guaranteed prize pool reached a whopping €9,365,350. A sparkling amount of €1,611,500 is set for the champion, as their prize, along with the title on the coming Sunday.

Unfortunately, the poker God, Daniel Negreanu is no longer among the runners. He was raised in the early half of Day 2 along with a few other notables. Daniel Negreanu is one of the most well-known players. In his poker career, this poker genius has already taken down 6 World Series Of Poker (WSOP) Gold Bracelets and Two World Poker Tour (WPT) championship titles. According to the 2018 poker census, Negreanu is the 2nd biggest live tournament poker winner of all times. In his career so far, Daniel has amassed over  $39,500,000 in prize money.

Along with Negreanu, another notable who was railed is Jeff Gross. He reached the final table of 5 WSOP events but unfortunately, he doesn’t have any Gold Bracelet to his name yet. He has won over $4million in his poker tournament career.

Following Gross, former November Niner Vojtech Ruzicka also left the felt. He stands 3rd on the Czech Republic All Time Money List. His total live earnings are over $37,113,65.

This year’s WSOP Main Event runner-up Tony Miles, and online legend Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew are also no longer eligible to continue playing the Main Event. Both got eliminated just after Negreanu’s exit.

As the GTD was announced, the players got motivated even more.

In this event, Guillaume Diaz had to be the bubble boy.
