The Spartan Super Series Day 3 began with Electra INR2.5 lakh GTD. The INR800 buy-in tournament drew a massive field of 427 entries beefing the prize pool to INR3,11,170 GTD. As a result, the minimum prize amount stood at INR2026. Thirty-six positions got paid. Finishing on top was Anurag Srivastava aka ‘InvestmentBanker‘ who got a pay-check of INR62,342. Srivastava has been showing a brilliant inning on online poker in the past few months. A very consistent player with titles like Mega Stack and July’s Hot Tournament Leaderboard to his name, Srivastava is a regular face on the Spartan tables.
At SSS number 12 held on its third day, INR1.5 lakh GTD booked 440 entries. Top 54 positions got paid with minimum cash dropping to as low as INR675. Amidst all the fun and drama, newly signed PokerDangal Team Pro Abhineet Jain shipped the first prize of INR27,750. Playing under the moniker pokemon13, Jain won the title against a heads-up with Sanjay Taneja. Taneja is a well-known face in the Indian poker circuit. Popularly known as Spartan’s mega 2.o.K tournament winner, he also made a trip to Las Vegas this year for the 2018 WSOP series.
