Adda52’s First ‘One Time’ Tournament Bagged By Ragesh Mishra

Ragesh Mishra wins the first ‘One Time’ tournament on Adda52.com pocketing a prize money of INR10 Lakh. The INR 1,000 buy-in tournament launched for the first time on Adda52.com received an overwhelming response from poker enthusiasts. The tournament guaranteed every member of the final table a prize money of INR 1 Lakh.

Not Just One Time

So, One Time was a great opportunity for players to make it big with less investment. The best part was players had not one but two chances of pocketing the INR 10 Lakh prize money. This is how. The first option was by taking the top spot, and second was by playing 2,500 hands on the 100/200 cash tables between 15th to 21st July. Also, all players ranking from 2nd to 8th position on the final table were entitled to a fixed amount of INR1 Lakh.

The Tournament And The Win!

This brand new poker tournament attracted a total of 1,467 entries on Adda52.com on Sunday, July 22. This one-off Sunday tournament offering one of the lowest buy-ins in the circuit garnered popularity amongst several poker enthusiasts. The tournament ran for 9 hours before 26-year old Mishra nailed the flagship title.

Sharing his excitement, this is what the winner from the city of gardens had to say:

“The tournament was pretty smooth, apart from a couple of hiccups. I had a big stack on the bubble which was the most important thing. The only time I was a bit worried about the opponents was when my mentor Danish (Shaikh) was at my table on my left. So, I couldn’t be as liberal in my play as he always knows what’s up. Haha. One key hand was when I won with A6 against AK when maybe 15 people were left. That set me up nicely.”

Other notable monikers that appeared on the One Time lobby included ‘pirateking7’ and ‘pomfret1989’ who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
